Re-Writing Your Future




It's our tendency to always reflect back. Maybe on the mistakes we made, the good ole times, you catch my drift. But when we try and look ahead of time what feelings come up for you? Are you excited about your future? Are you anxious? Whirling emotions around change, the unknown and the future are all very normal.

When I was younger, I had so much anxiety about the future. The unknown, it scared me! I knew what I wanted but how would I get there? Were I to accomplish all my dreams and goals or was this unknown going to swallow me whole?!

I remember having discussions with my therapist and she would always give me the best advice. Shed always want me to vision what I wanted for myself, and always remember to think positively. It definitely helped!! I would read books on fear of the unknown, and I gained so much knowledge it actually calmed my nerves.

Fear to the unknown is due to wanting control but obviously, that's not obtainable. We can do everything in our power, work hard, but truth be told we don't have control over what will happen tomorrow. That's what everyone has been feeding us right? Well after reading Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza, my view of foreseeing our destiny was thrown out the window.

With the help of meditation,, hard work, all of your dreams can come true!! Dr. Joe describes one of his meditations that allows us to re-write our own future!! And let me tell you it works!! The meditation goes as follows:

  1. Closing your eyes, sitting up straight or lying down whatever is most comfortable for you. 
  2.  Focus on your breathing, inhaling, and exhaling. 
  3. Once you get your breath in the right rhythm, quiet your mind, and allow thoughts to come and go. 
  4. Envision where you see your life. Maybe on the beach, a new house, a new relationship whatever it is ENVISION!! Hold that vision tightly as you continue to breathe in and out. 
  5. While holding your future vision, start to feel how you would when you finally obtain whatever vision you are holding. 
  6. Feel energy such as blissfulness, gratitude, love, joy, abundance. 
  7. Hold this space for 10-15 minutes. 
  8. Lastly, open your eyes, give thanks to the loving energy surrounding you, and continue to hold that vision in your mind as you go about your day, allowing yourself to be overcome by positive emotions. 
       9.   Repeat anytime, any day!   

When you continue to envision yourself where you would like to be, the faster it will come!! Manifesting, meditation, and being grateful to the universe are all your pieces to the puzzle.  I am your prime example that this works!! I've meditated on so many things that I have now and I am so grateful!

When you believe you deserve it, I promise the universe will do everything to conspire it. Just continue to hold that vision tightly and you will see that you will have everything you want in your life!! Everything you have dreamed of is obtainable.

I know it may seem too good to be true but it's not!! Try Dr. Joe's meditation along with maintaining a grateful attitude, you will see things change before your eyes!!
